Pine

Species from the southeast of the United States and Central America.

It is a group of pines that are botanically not very distinct and commonly exploited, the most representative of which is P. elliotti.

Differential whiteness from yellowish white to light orange or pale yellow. The transition between spring and summer wood is very abrupt in each ring, giving a very striking tangential splitting. Wood with straight fibre and coarse grain.
